MANB Islamic School – Requirements

All Parents are requested to comply to the requirements below when preparing their children for MANB Islamic School:

Timing: Start at 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, followed by the Dhuhr prayer

Subjects Taught: Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Principles

List of Schools Supplies School bag, 3 folders or 3 notebooks, Pencils, eraser, crayon box/coloring pencils, and water bottles.

Masks: Please provide your child/children with a mask that they need to wear to get into the MANB facilities. The students will not need to wear a mask inside their class.

Recess Snack: Please make sure to send a water bottle and a healthy snack, i.e., fruit, yogurt etc. No chocolate/candy, popcorn or chips please!

Homework: The Teachers will be sending homework either through emails to Parents or through students. Parents are required to check and can work with them at home.

Outfit: Modest Islamic outfit for all students and all girls must bring their own head scarf.

Pick up of Children: The safety of our children is our first priority -Children are not allowed to wait outside for their Parents. They need to be picked up from inside the Masjid after Salat. We encourage Parents to attend salat and then pick up their child/children. As children learn from seeing and observing their Elders/Parents, we all need to be role models for them.

Good conduct and behavior are very important at the school. Children who misbehave in class with their Peers and with the Teachers will be given a warning and the Parents will be notified.

Additional Volunteers: We require volunteers, so if you can volunteer or know of anyone who may be able to volunteer for teaching, monitoring the children during recess, or assisting in any way, please let us know.
