Below you will find the information on Eid-ul-Adha 2024. According to Fiqh Council of North America, Eid-ul-Adha falls on Sunday , June 16, 2024.

Important Dates:

Dhul-Hijjah Starts – 1 Dhul-Hijjah  – June 7, 2024
Youm Arafah – 9 Dhul-Hijjah – June 15, 2024
Eid-ul-Adha – 10 Dhul-Hijjah – June 16, 2024

Schedule for the Eid Salaat Program is as follows:

8:00 AM –
Salaat Eid-ul-Adha –
صلاة عيد الاضحىٰ

8:10 AM – 8:35 AM
English Talk & Khutba –
موعظة باللغة الانجليزية و خطبة عيد الاضحىٰ

8:35 AM  
Eid Socialization and Greetings –لقاء العيد
Refreshments & Sweets – ضيافة ومشروبات

IMPORTANT:

• Please come early so you can be situated on time for the salaat
• Please do not forget to bring a prayer mat or a sheet to pray on.
• The direction of Qibla is at an angle, so please follow the instructions of the volunteers when you spread your prayer mats so you face the qibla in the proper direction.
• No Shoes are allowed on the turf in the Field 1, so please make sure you take your shoes off before going on the turf.
• No Food items are to be brought on the turf in Field 1. They must be taken to the Multipurpose Rooms 1 &2.

Celebrating Salaat Eid-ul-Adha Together

We are happy to announce that this year on Eid-ul-Adha, MANB and JRJ (Jamia Riyadhul Jannah – West Side Mosque) have made a small effort to bring this community together and offer Salaat Eid-ul-Adha in one congregation.

By token of this announcement, we reach out to all Muslims in Greater Saint John Area to join us for the Salaat Eid-ul-Adha and celebrate this joyous day with the whole community.

SALAAT EID-UL-ADHA 2024

• Salaat Eid-ul-Adha:
  • This year MANB has organized Salaat Eid-ul-Adha at:
    • Irving Oil Field House
      FIELD 1
      129 McAllister Dr
      Saint John, NB E2J 2S7

• The Salaat will be carried out in FIELD 1
• There will be only one congregation of Salaatul Eid
• Salaatul Eid will take place at 8:00 AM sharp

BOUNCY CASTLE AND OBSTACLE COURSE

• There will be Bouncy Castle and Obstacle Course for the kids after Salaatul Eid. 
• Children will also be able to play in Field 1 after the Salaat
• Ages 6-12

HAMBURGERS AND PIZZA

• Hamburgers and Pizzas will be served after Salaatul Eid
• Everybody is requested to come to Multipurpose Rooms 1 & 2 where food will be served

FAMILIES ARE REQUESTED TO BRING SWEETS AND FINGER FOODS

• Everybody is requested to bring Sweets and Finger Foods 
• Please see one of the volunteers to know where you can drop the food
