Below you will find the information on Eid-ul-Adha 2025. According to Fiqh Council of North America, Eid-ul-Adha falls on Friday , June 6, 2025.

Important Dates:

Dhul-Hijjah Starts – 1 Dhul-Hijjah – Wed, May 28, 2025
Last Day to Order Udhiya/Qurbani – Mon, June 2, 2025
Youm Arafah – 9 Dhul-Hijjah – Thu, June 5, 2025
Salaat Eid-ul-Adha – 10 Dhul-Hijjah –  Fri, June 6, 2025
Eid-ul-Adha Celebration – 11 Dhul-Hijjah – Sat, June 7, 2025

Salaat Eid-ul-Adha 2025

FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2025
LOCATION: IRVING OIL FIELD HOUSE

Schedule for the Eid Salaat Program is as follows:

8:20 AM – English Speech – الخطاب باللغة الإنجليزية
8:50 AM – 9:00 AM – Salaat Eid-ul-Adha – صلاة عيد الاضحىٰ
9:00 AM – 9:10 AM – Eid Khutba –  خطبة عيد الاضحىٰ
9:10 AM – 11:00 AM – Eid Socialization – لقاء العيد

IMPORTANT:

• Please come early so you can be situated on time for the salaat
• Please do not forget to bring a prayer mat or a sheet to pray on.
• The direction of Qibla is at an angle, so please follow the instructions of the volunteers when you spread your prayer mats so you face the qibla in the proper direction.
• Please DO NOT walk around or talk loud as this disturbs other congregants in their prayer. 
• No Shoes are allowed on the turf in the Field 1 & 2, so please make sure you take your shoes off before going on the turf.
• Kids Play Area  All kids who wish to play, please let them do so in Field 2. There will be playing equipment available for the kids to play with. 
• Please make sure your children are not running around in the Prayer Field so others are not disturbed in their Salaat

We are happy to announce that just like previous year, MANB and JRJ (Jamia Riyadhul Jannah – West Side Mosque) have made a small effort to bring this community together and offer Salaat Eid-ul-Adha in one congregation.

By token of this announcement, we reach out to all Muslims in Greater Saint John Area to join us for the Salaat Eid-ul-Adha and celebrate this joyous day with the whole community.

SALAAT EID-UL-ADHA 2025

• Salaat Eid-ul-Adha:
  • This year MANB has organized Salaat Eid-ul-Adha at:
    • Irving Oil Field House
      FIELD 1
      129 McAllister Dr
      Saint John, NB E2J 2S7

• The Salaat will be carried out in FIELD 1
• KIDS Play Area will be in FIELD 2
  • FIELD 2 is available only between 8 AM and 10 AM. After 10 AM everybody is requested to move to FIELD 1.
• There will be only one congregation of Salaatul Eid
• Salaatul Eid will take place at 8:50 AM sharp

Eid-ul-Adha Celebration Day

WHEN:  SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2025

WHERE: MANB MASJID (1100 Rothesay Road)

TIME: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

 Eid-ul-Adha Celebration Day 

Everyone is warmly invited to join the Eid-ul-Adha gathering on Saturday, June 7 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at MANB Masjid, 1100 Rothesay Road!

Let’s come together in celebration, gratitude, and community. Bring your family, friends, and festive spirit—everyone is welcome!

 Food Highlights: Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and pizza—something tasty for everyone!

 For the little ones: There will be a variety of activities and games for kids to have fun!

 Family Contributions: Families are kindly requested to bring sweets and finger foods to share.

FUN & GAMES FOR KIDS – SATURDAY JUN 7, 2025 @ 10:00 AM  

• The game and activities – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
• All Kids are welcome
• There will be variety of games for the kids that they can participate in
• We intend to have activities outside so please make sure the kids wear appropriate clothes (Pls don’t put the new Eid clothes on as they might get dirty!)

• Home made Hamburgers and Pizzas will be served

FAMILIES ARE REQUESTED TO BRING SWEETS AND FINGER FOODS

• Everybody is requested to bring Sweets and Finger Foods 
• Please see one of the volunteers to know where you can drop the food
