- Sadaqatul Fitr for each person is $16 per person in the Household.
- Sadaqatul Fitr is obligatory upon every free, sane, Muslim who has wealth beyond his basic needs and which reaches the value of Nisaab (612.36 grams of silver). It is also necessary for a father to give Sadaqatul Fitr on behalf of his minor children if they do not possess their own wealth to the value of Nisaab. He may use their wealth if it does reaches the value of Nisaab.

- Sadaqatul Fitr becomes obligatory at the dawn of Eid ul Fitr and must be expiated before the Salaat-ul Eid.
- MANB is collecting Sadaqatul Fitr on your behalf and it will be expiated before Eid Salaat. In order for us to expiate it properly, we are requesting that it be submitted by Sunday, March 15, 2026. This will give us a chance to send it to the needy well before Eid Salaat.
